Last nights yoga was a lot better! I was back to being able to focus which felt incredible. I don’t want to constantly repeat the same things over and over again but at the same time there are many things we do everyday that I am able to learn more and more about. There’s also a lot of positions or movements that seem to be getting better over time so I want to make sure to let you all know what those are exactly!
Right now one of my FAVORITE positions is the child-pose.
Like I’ve mentioned before, I have a lot of tightness and pain in my right shoulder blade region so doing this pose during or after each session, it really stretches out that area and I’m hoping over time it can be completely gone or close to it!
Let’s also talk about balance- So far mine isn’t the greatest lol. I didn’t realize how uncoordinated I was until I started this challenge. Then again, what I’m learning isn’t exactly something you do on a day to day basis if you don’t know much about yoga in general or not active in yoga. I can’t tell you how many times I have fallen sideways! lol! The only advice I have for anyone else that is struggling with this, don’t give up. Push yourself to do the best you can and don’t add any pressure to it. Even if you fall, just get right back up, go back into position, and keep going. You can’t get better at something if your willing to give up so quickly! KEEP GOING! Hope you all are having a fantastic week and keep an eye out for day 10!
