30 Day Yoga Challenge/ Day 6

Day 6- Abs day! Oh  I needed today’s session for sure! It amazes me how you do so little movements (not little movements but you get the idea) but yet you work so many different muscles in your body! This is just one of the reasons why I love Yoga so far. Ive slowly been learning new things everyday about it plus my body. I have a feeling I’m going to be pretty dang sore after today!

I’ve caught myself doing simple stretches that I’ve learned so far and I think its interesting how its starting to come to me automatically without realizing. Matching your breathing with the motions is definitely still a struggle for me and I have no idea why. I assumed I would be used to it by now but NOPE! Is it because I am still too focused on other things? I will admit it takes a lot for me to close my eyes and think about one thing. I can’t be the only one! So maybe for me it will just take some time and more practice. IMG_1721 2.JPG The exercises she had me do seemed so simple until your actually in the position and your body is trembling because you noticed how much your actually using specific muscles! CRAZY! OH have I also mentioned that its also been helping me get better sleep lately?? For the most part I do my yoga sessions at night just because my work schedule and also going to school in the evenings. I still haven’t brought myself to get up early before work to do it BUT like I’ve mentioned before I am NOT a morning person!
