We Love it, so why destroy it?

Im sitting here writing a paper for English about plastic pollution and thought I’d share this little question……

Most of us enjoy the amazing ocean views, the feel of the breeze, the sound of the waves, and love or at least find the life underneath interesting. Why would you want to destroy it? Something so unique has made an impact in our lives somehow right? Maybe your memory of the ocean is getting engaged on the beach, taking a simple picture of the view, walking down the beach to clear your head, spending time with family, or whatever it may be, we all have some happy memory that the ocean has given us. To this day 70% of the plastic trash sinks to the bottom of the ocean. The toxins from all the garbage are going into the fish that YOU eat so you basically just polluted your own body. Animals have to suffer because of our lack of care. It’s not their fault that they end up dying from too much plastic in their stomach. It’s not their fault that people want to take animals away from their families for our entertainment. IT’S OURS. Our oceans and marine life deserve a little more respect. If we continue to carry out our lives with no care in the world for whats around us then sadly eventually we will not have those beautiful views to look at anymore. I want to be be able to show my kids and grandkids how remarkable our planet can be. I want to encourage them to go explore and find out what they are passionate about and GO FOR IT!  I don’t want to have to explain to them how we turned something so beautiful into something disgusting. I think the LEAST we can do is start trying to protect it and start making a difference now so we can continue to enjoy those amazing views. 💕
